Overview
Our workshops provide practical training for people who support small businesses and cooperatives – small business support organizations and loan funds, economic development agencies, and independent consultants. We offer two types of workshops:
Workshop Series are multi-week programs where you work through a specific topic alongside other advisors and consultants. These 4-week series meet weekly for 2 hours and combine practical instruction with case study work and group discussion. You leave with frameworks, tools, and approaches you can use immediately with the businesses you support.
One-Time Workshops are focused 2-hour sessions on specific advising challenges. These workshops combine instruction with hands-on activities where you work through real scenarios, plus time to connect with other advisors and consultants facing similar situations.
Whether you are new to advising small businesses, strengthening your financial interpretation skills, supporting businesses through workforce challenges or transitions, or building an independent consulting practice, our workshops create space to work through it with guidance and support from leaders in small business advising and consulting.
