In our Financial Forecasting Course, you will review the key components of a business’ financial forecast and refine your financial forecast for your business. This course is 6-weeks long and is suited for entrepreneurs who are looking to gain a better understanding of the numbers behind their business and create a realistic financial forecast for growth and funding.

  • Calculate contribution margins for each of your products and services
Customer Lifetime Value
  • Gain an understanding of customer acquisition cost and customer lifetime value as key financial metrics
  • Identify the costs associated with acquiring and serving customers
  • Use business data to calculate your customer acquisition cost and customer lifetime value
Forecasting Expenses
  • Gain an understanding of the role financial statements play in a business and learn how to read a profit & loss statement
  • Learn how to translate cost structure into an expense forecast
  • Develop an expense forecast for your business
Forecasting Revenue
  • Review your business’ current revenues stream and identify future revenue streams
  • Learn how to translate revenue streams into a revenue forecast
  • Develop a revenue forecast for your business
Forecasting Cash Flow
  • Learn how to forecast and manage cash flow
  • Gain an understanding of how to use the cash flow forecast to determine short and long-term funding needs
  • Develop a cash flow projection and identify funding needs for your business

Prerequisites

Must be making sales to customers or have letters of intent for sales to potential customers, have a basic website and social media for your business, and have an up-to-date business plan.

Average time commitment for our Financial Forecasting Course is 8 hours / week dedicated to building your business, and includes the following weekly activities:
